Red 7 Media is a privately-held diversified media company headquartered in Norwalk, CT. The company, recently ranked by Inc. Magazine as the #1 fastest growing private company in periodicals, publishes market-leading magazines, eMedia products and newsletters, and also produces conferences and events.

GFM provides full circle strategic and operational management of Red 7's interactive portfolio, working closely with company and brand leaders and an on-site integrated eMedia staff. This includes product concepts, planning, budgeting, design and development and operational support.

In the last year, R7M has retooled the entire FOLIO: brand online, including a vastly upgraded FOLIO: Magazine Web site, the mediaPRO professional network and the FOLIO: Careers Job Board. GFM will leverage the company's Live Event Group portfolio into a major portal launch in 2009. Combined with its Webinar, Microsite, Directory and eNewlstter products, R7M has experienced significant revenue and audience growth online.

Elsevier Public Safety (www.elsevier.com/publicsafety), an Elsevier business located in San Diego, Calif., produces public safety products and services including JEMS (Journal of Emergency Medical Services), FireRescue Magazine, Law Officer, EMS Today Conference and Exposition, JEMS.com, LawOfficer.com and other products.

Elsevier's addition of the Go Forward Media strategy and operations leadership team will drive a fully integrated approach to online content, marketing, sales and operations, enabling the development of a wide array of new and enhanced Web products across the fire, EMS, law enforcement and communications universe. The company will also leverage the staff and resources of Go Forward Media to support new Web initiatives, technologies, development, and client services.

With the addition of new key team members at GFM, the site will continue to create excitement within the fire service as a top destination to connect, learn and get critical industry information. The site is one of the largest online niche social and professional networks.

Leveraging the power of Wordpress and multiple plug-in components, GFM manages the Web site for one of the nation's top prep basketball programs, Oak Hill Academy. The site will include regularly-updated game recaps, player profiles and diaries, photo and video segments and more for an 'in-season' audience which tops tens of thousands of fans and visitors each month.


Past Clients

For more than two decades, HMP Communications, LLC (HMP) has provided healthcare professionals with medical communications products to inform, inspire and challenge their approach to patient care. HMP, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HMP Communications Holdings, LLC, has become a dynamic resource for healthcare professionals in the fields of wound care, podiatry, dermatology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, vascular disease, long-term care, managed care, diabetes, arthritis, and specialized primary care.

Following a comprehensive review of the company's eMedia products and opportunities, HMP engaged Go Forward Media to help develop and implement its interactive strategy. This includes development of an eMedia sales training program, technology review and upgrades, and product development.

In 2007, GFM developed the framework of the National Volunteer Fire Council's National Junior Firefighter initiative. The program gives young people the chance to learn about local fire, rescue and emergency medical services response organizations in a safe, controlled, educational and fun manner -- and it provides volunteer departments with an excellent recruitment tool. GFM was engaged by Firefighter.com, an eCommerce-driven web site offering apparel, collectibles, books, jewelry, gifts and more for firefighters and their loved ones. During the engagement, GFM led strategic growth of Firefighter.com's marketing and business development. The highlight of the program was a tremendous increase in organic search traffic and resulting revenue.
